Don’t Get Me Started On… The Weather in Durham

Anyone who lives or has lived in Durham in the UK will know what I am talking about when I say the weather is a complicated mess. Living in the North-East of England has been a baptism of fire having grown up in the South-East. I love living in Durham but I won’t lie and say that it doesn’t come with trials.

I recently wrote an article about the trials and tribulations of living in Durham for Her Campus last month. If you know Durham then check it out to share in the misery – and if you don’t know Durham, here’s an opportunity to see what you are missing. The link is here.

As always, comment are appreciated.

Much love,

Florence Odette xx

Haha I’m thinking of applying to Durham for English Literature next year. Do you go there? What’s the town like?

Hi! Yes I am in my final year at Durham University. That’s great! The town is lovely, lots of lovely restaurants and cafes etc, and the cathedral is stunning. Only complaints about the town would be that it is quite small and so things to do can be limited but Newcastle isn’t far away. Its also very hilly but thats only a minor thing, just gets quite tiring. If you have any other questions I’d be happy to answer them!
